Oakley TOP is a handsome and extremely kind, dark bay 5 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding. Standing 16.2hh he is a light footed mover with 3 good gaits and willing calm, friendly temperament. Still owned directly by his breeder he has clean baseline leg xrays on file and comes from a proven dam line for sport. He is schooling 2nd Level movements (he is not yet 5) and hacks out alone quietly. He would be the ideal partner for an AdAm rider looking for a sweet, fancy and kind partner to develop.

Oakley's sire Hennessy (De Niro x Jazz) has a powerhouse pedigree and began his career by winning the 2015 KWPN Stallion Performance Testing praised for his self carriage, power, easy rideability and top movement. Hennessy progressed to Advanced Level in dressage scoring mid 70's. Hennessy combines the genes of three of world’s best dressage sires: De Niro, Jazz and Ulft. For decades both De Niro and Jazz led the WBFSH ranking for dressage sires and both performed successfully at Grand Prix level. De Niro is considered one of Germany’s most valuable dressage patriarchs, siring world-famous horses like Desperados FRH, Delgado and D’Agostino FRH. Grand sire Jazz has been indispensable in the breeding of dressage horses and is still famous as the sire of international stars Glock’s Johnson and Jerich Parzival (the latter born also from the proven combination Jazz x Ulft). Hennessey's dam Silhouette, has been awarded ‘Elite and Preferent’ by the KWPN and passed the performance test for mares successfully with an 8 for her canter. In addition, Silhouette is the full sister to the approved stallion Ragtime, ridden to Grand Prix level by the American rider Christina Robinson.

Oakley's dam Amelia (Jacardo x Kelvin) earned her Ster and Keur status with the KWPN also completing an impressive IBOP with an 8.5 for her canter. Her comments from the visiting Dutch committee were "This chestnut mare showed good leg technique at the trot. But it was the quality of her gaits especially the canter (noted for good self carriage, scope and balance and earning an 8.5! Her swing and power landed her with a 7.8 for her IBOP placing her first in the Dressage IBOP both at this keuring and in the Top Five for NA." Amelia's Dam Sire Jacardo was also a successful Grand Prix competitor who placed in the top ten at the Pavo Cup as a young stallion in the Netherlands, competed to Advanced Level in Europe and was short listed for the Canadian Dressage Team.

He cross ties, baths, body clips, hot shoes, leads in and out quietly, and is a calm full day turnout horse with another gelding. He loads on a horse trailer well and ships quietly. He has some clean baseline leg xrays on file taken by his breeder, he has straight legs and great feet. His only blemish is an old inactive splint on the inside of his left front cannon. He has no history of lameness, colic, allergies or gastric issues. He has been healthy and sound in full work with us since last fall and has really blossomed over the last while.
